Pakistan is the only country where martyrs of armed forces and other are in numbers. Every martyred has its own story of courageous and bravery. There are so many names mentioned on the Yadagare Shuhada of armed forces. They came from every corner of the Pakistan and cam in front of terrorist to save their homeland and us from their nexus.

Captain Bilal Zafar Shaheed is one of them who laid their life in the battle ground against terrorist. He was born on 2nd February 1983. He belongs to the military family his was father was also Ex-army officer of Pakistan Army. He passed from the 108th PMA Long Course. He was commissioned in the 42 Baloch Regiment of Pakistan Army. He later also joined the SSG. He also serves in the UN Peacekeeping Missions.

On May 2009 The Operation Rah-e-Rast was started against the militants and to clear the Swat district from the Militants. The Pakistan Army Special Services Group launched the operation Janbaz.

Mother Of captain Bilal Zafar tells a story and emotional for us:
Before going for operation he has conversation with his mother and he told his mother “what kind of death you like” his mother said:” Son! Death how anyone like this.” He said: “Maa G am just asking” and suddenly stands up and turned around towards the gate and said: “Maa G suppose that you are sitting here and two officers came to you salutes you and says:
Congratulations your son martyred what will u feel and we ripe your son’s body with Pakistani Flag.” His mother said:” Oh son! What are you saying? He said:” Maa G Pray for me.” His Mother said:” I have entrust you on that day when you wear this Khaki Uniform. He also
said:”Maa Bullets will do nothing of me Just a rocket will do something to your son.

On 17th May 2009 a rocket hits on chest of Captain Bilal Zafar and he martyred. The Government of Pakistan announced the Gallantry Award of Sitara-e-Basalat for his Bravery and courageousness.
